Welcome to the Sydney Fluid Dynamics Research Group

Our mission is to study the behaviour of fluid motion on its many different levels. We investigate a wide range of industrial and environmental fluid flows, ranging from environmental flows such as flow in rivers and lakes to high speed compressible flows such as supersonic jets and inertial confinement fusion. We use a range of approaches including experiments, numerical simulation and analytical methods.
